When i discussed with Suthargar, he got mentioned the contact he has is only for getting plastic pool chair. I know this plastic material won't be lasting as the white will turned into yellow after exposing to sunlight for certain period of time.
Since our surrounding area are more toward resort-styled deco, I'm suggesting to have this made of wood benches deploy at pool area, multipurpose hall and bbq area. From the price i got from Ikea and Ace hardware, min is RM376. I not sure about the quality. I want the benches to be long lasting at least 3 to 5 years.
Here are some of the pic i took on Sun.
So, i'm going to bring up this to others committee members. It will be great i can give them substantial amount of info with worth for money product to be purchase.

Yes... this kind of pool benches are really great for our condo pool... Please do try to convince the management to use these wooden benches instead of those plastic chairs...

Plastics chairs ruin our pool view.
Plastic chairs for multipurpose hall is okay but those wooden benches are perfect and good for pool side and bbq area.

There is a nursery at Kepong where they sell plants and also lanscaping stuff. You may get better deal there if you buy a few/in bulk at one time.
I'm thinking 3 at pool area, 2 at bbq area and 2 inside multipurpose hall. Wat u guys think?
I know nearby area like kepong and sg buloh got nursery and furniture's factory. But if possible, i want the direct contact who u guys already deal with or your fren/relative who are actually involved in this kind of business. Try to get reasonable price with good quality product.
There is a nursery next to the Petronas station at Kepong. The nursery there also have this car wash place. You can enquire with the lady and tell her you are asking quotation for your condo and press her to give a good price

I think putting a few wooden sun deck chairs at the pool will be nice. Like those in hotel pools :)
Our pool water is getting very dirty lately... and I feel is a bit unhygienic.
Yes... I notice that too. The water has turned green and you can hardly see the other end of the pool while swimming. This shows the water quality is depleting and maintenance is required.
Possible to get a few deck chair/sun-baking chairs to a bit of sun tanning also? i know not good for the skin, but i like it. Dont think need many just 2 or so.

can attend to more important things first like installing 2nd tier security at entrance to lift lobby? Now ,as it stands, any one could enter the lifts. We need another point of security here.I feel this is more important for now.
FYI, we're working on that too. The buying of bench is part of the add on value to CV.
We know how to give priority to important matter. I understand that feedback frm owners are important in our decision making process.
Our main obejctives for now are security facilities, water quality and security guards.
Agree, we should attend to those issues with higher priority. Understand we have may limited fund, then we should concentrate on those items with higher priority. Besides, I'm wondering is all JMB committees are working on the issue. As I really feel only our secretary are putting in more effort ...... lol
All JMB members are working hard on the issues. We'll discuss those pending issues, review proposal submitted and meeting with security guards and management.
I'll updates you all on the progress and action taken for those issues.
instead of buy bench can you buy some umbrella for block A residen when rain don't get wet from parking to condo ah?
Yeah... I think JMB need to do something especially for Block A residents... getting to the carpark when raining is really difficult

i trully agree with the installment of the pool benches especially the wooden ones its looks good. Plastic benches let alone chairs makes the place so CHEAP!!! The other thing to remember plastic chairs worn off fast with the sweltering heat plus it tends to SLIP quickly.
During the meeting, management saying that developer was agreed to purchase the wooden. So, at the moment, i'll wait and see wat's the plan by developer.
