Adrian and myself were involved in this demo. They're trying a new solution for the broadband internet service. Thanks Jerry for loaning us his P1 modem. 
Overall, the demo was success and their solution actually works!. But problem we have right now is the ISP. Yes, they need to ultilise the existing ISP in order for the solution to work. And because the signal fr P1 is so bad, the speed for the internet was extremely slow. They're looking at alternate ISP other than P1 which they think can work better.
I wont go in details on the plan. To be exact, we're not giving them the greenlight yet to start the service in CV. We have not finalised anything as we're still leaving our option open. But one thing that pulls me to this solution is because they're giving us add on service like IP phone. You guys know our exisiting intercom has endless problem. This solution can provide us with internet service and the IP phone, and we can transfer file among the resident. And another advantage is that no satelite plate is needed at our rooftop.
Ok, i wont confuse u all with more info. Let's us discuss in details with the company and getting the best plan for all of us. Please note, it is not a compulsory service to subscribe but is mainly an alternative service we're getting for all of us to think about.

So no decision yet with which company u will get the service from? keep it updated & just make sure the ISP provide secure connection like streamyx so i can access to Playstaion Home that required PPOe. thanks mr.moderator!!
Hi there, we tried P satu and the speed is totally unacceptable. Now we leave it to company to liase with other ISP on the next demo. I think they're considering streamyx. BTW, u suing any broadband service at the moment?
Nop, i just leave a comment at "P1 vs Digi". If u all going for Streamyx. fine for me. waaah can wait to play game online....thanks mr.moderator for the info!!
by testing maxis and p1, p1 performs better with the modem placed near the window. about 1200 - 1600kbps, and its stable too. not sure why some say p1 is slow?
It's mean when i moving in to this condo i can't apply to use streamyx???? or time? i don't like izzi p1 all that... i used it b4 the line is very slow
If you want to apply Streamyx, can try apply individually. If you willing to wait, so just wait for the management 'settle' for you.
If you're frm block A or B, streamyx should'nt has any problem. But C is little bit challenging.
But C is little bit challenging? why is that? so no hope for me to subscribe streamyx for time being? or....
If the main phone cable is up for block C, should'nt be any problem. cheers!
Time Broadband is installing the new service (fibre broadband) in mont kiara with speeds up to 10Mbps... i think if enough people would send an inquiry to Time then they may add changkat view into the list of buildings...
somebody put flayers in my post box. its "Streamyx coming to you place now?" is it true? did apply last time but cant proceed due to no port.
