Pedestrian Walkway Gate at Main entrance

After the long wait, the plan of installing the pedestrian walkway gate is finally up. With the CCTV installation recently, JMB had gone further in improving the security of Changkat View Condo. For your information, this gate is locked and only can be opened by the security personnel. So guess what, all residents/owners (pedestrian) are supposed to bring their resident card along when entering/exiting the main entrance. Be prepared to be checked by the security personnel.
And all walk in visitors will be registered before they're allow to enter through the gate. Again, kudos to JMB of Changkat View Condo for their hardworks!

The new gate is great, but then the security guards open the gate for everyone who wants to go in and out without checking or register, then what's the point of spending money to set up the gate?

I've seen this myself. The guard just asked a walk in stranger where he's going to, and the stranger said he's going to visit friend, then he was allowed to enter without registering! Is that the procedure?????

I guess everything goes back to basic which is the attitude of personnel. please give some time to adjust to the new procedure. Residents do need time getting the resident card too. Anyway, let's monitor closely on the implementation. Is indeed a good start and definitely benefit us in long run.

If possible, why not implement access card for all residents. For those having car access card, should having the same usage for both.

FYI, the card would be the second step and JMB is looking on the budget for the access card and also the strategy to issue this card to avoid it being abused.
But everything is still in the preliminary step. let's them to work on that.

Great to hear that. But I hope single access card can used for multiple usage, such as for car access, pedestrian walkaway gate, as well as a resident card.

I second Ivan's suggestion to put up an access card system in place for the pedestrian gate...like any other established condo

all else, well done and keep up the good work!
